“The 2023 UC Berkeley Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association (UCB CLAA) Scholarship Program is sponsored by an amazing group of donors,  foundations and CLAA regional chapters. Thanks to their contributions, UCB CLAA Scholarships will support undergraduate and graduate Chicanx Latinx students at Cal who demonstrate need for tuition, books, equipment, and living expenses. Our application for the 2023 cycle is now open and is due on August 27, 2023.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, merit, and special considerations decided by donors. A needs assessment and overall financial aid package will be evaluated by UCB CLAA. Scholarship awards are based upon the following primary factors:

• Matriculation at UC Berkeley with undergraduate or graduate standing
• Financial need
• Commitment to the Latinx community
• Leadership potential
• Exceptional academic and professional potential​
