To continue on our financial responsibility series that launched with our Managing Your Student Debt workshop, we joint forces with the Los Angeles Chapter of the Gates Millennium Scholarship Alumni Association. We hosted Dominique Jordan, a member of the Gates Millennium Scholarship Alumni Association and Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley, as he shared with our members information on how to build assets in preparation for retirement. Our members reviewed key components of the Morgan Stanley Financial Planning Playbook and walked away with next steps and new connections across the two chapters.

Bears Night Out (Annual Scholarship Fundraiser)

We are proud to share that we hosted our third Bears Night Out bringing various alumni across Cal generations to network and enjoy each others’ company as we also fundraised for our annual scholarships. We were excited to also indulge in some delicious empanadas and other snacks that allow us to celebrate the richness of the Latinx cultures.
